Dr. Nai-Cheng Kuo was born and raised in Taiwan. She is a full professor in the Department of Teaching and Leading and serves as the Special Education Program Coordinator. She holds a dual-major Ph.D. in Special Education (SPED) and Curriculum, Instruction, and Teacher Education (CITE) from Michigan State University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles with a focus on Daisaku Ikeda/Soka Studies in Education, teacher education, and special education to promote humanity in curriculum and pedagogical practices. Dr. Kuo has served on the U.S. Department of State's Fulbright National Searching Committee (Fulbright Taiwan ETA Scholarship) and Georgia's State Advisory Panel for Special Education (SAP). She also serves as the Program Director of Kids University at Augusta University, a summer program serving K-8 children and expanding partnerships with families and educators in the CSRA area.
