Bio

I have strong expertise on studying role of reactive oxygen species (ROS) (redox) signaling involved in angiogenesis and other cardiovascular and metabolic disease. My lab is the first to demonstrate that ROS derived from NADPH oxidase function as signaling molecule to promote VEGF signaling and angiogenesis as well as post-ischemic neovascularization involved in peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
