Teaching Interests

As the Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program, I focus on the development, implementation, and maintenance of curricula to train excellent pediatricians who are well-prepared to serve their patients and communities upon graduation. In our general pediatric clinic, I enjoy helping students and residents set individual goals which help them take personal responsibility for their own learning while providing me a framework from which I can teach.

Research Interests

My research focuses on medical education with a particular interest in competency based medical education and resident evaluation. Through this work, I hope to improve the resident evaluation process to provide more meaningful feedback while also identifying and closing curricular gaps.
