Bio
Dr. Bruner is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership. She earned her B.S. with distinction in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University. As a Rhodes Scholar, she attended the University of Oxford (England), where she earned a B.A. in Physiological Sciences. Upon returning to the United States, she received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her family medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Bruner has a wide range of family medicine clinical experience both in urban clinics and in small-town settings. In addition, Dr. Bruner has held multiple academic appointments at other institutions.
