Department of Psychological Sciences
I teach courses in Human Development, focusing on the biological, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of growth across the lifespan. I aim to connect theory, research, and applied understanding of human development to real-world contexts in psychology and security studies.
My research is broadly situated within experimental psychology, exploring how people perceive, learn, and make decisions across diverse contexts. I have examined topics including perceptual learning, medical decision-making, human-machine teaming, and the neural mechanisms underlying cognition. In my role as Augusta University’s Research Security Officer, I integrate behavioral science and research policy to study how human and organizational factors shape research integrity, institutional resilience, and security practices.
