Bio

Dr. Tankersley received her associate and bachelor degrees in physical therapy from Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from A. T. Still University of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. She is currently a PhD candidate in Pediatric Science at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions (RMUoHP) in Provo, Utah. Dr. Tankersley is a board certified clinical specialist in pediatrics through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has 25 years of experience in pediatric physical therapy practice and 15 years of experience in graduate level physical therapy education. Dr. Tankersley currently teaches the clinical education curriculum and pediatric content for the entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy program at AU. She is chair of the clinical education committee and covers the adult hemophilia clinic.
