Teaching Interests
As Director of Pediatric Student Education at the Medical College of Georgia, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring medical students pursuing pediatrics. My work focuses on developing and enhancing clerkship curricula, advising enrichment students interested in pediatric residency, and fostering statewide collaboration among faculty and preceptors to support our mission of high-quality, distributed medical education.
Research Interests
My research interests focus on undergraduate medical education as well as pediatric hospital medicine. I am particularly interested in studying how educational innovations and curriculum design impact student learning, clinical performance, and career development in pediatrics, as well as examining best practices in the care of hospitalized children.
