Bio
Dr. Tucker was appointed Spring 2015 as Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. She served as 4th Year Class Dean from 2019 until 2023 and Assistant Dean for Career Advising Dean from 2020 to 2023. She currently serves as Associate Dean for Student Affairs (interim October 2022 and permanent December 2022). She is a 1997 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her internship then a Pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2000 followed by a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship in 2005. Clinical specialties include Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Tucker is involved in numerous educational activities, which include Clerkship course teaching, resident training, mentorship, and student teaching. Her research interests include Trauma and Student Education. Dr. Tucker is also involved in AAP and ACEP.
