Department of Teaching and Leading
With over 34 years of experience in education spanning elementary through high school leadership, along with instructing adult learners, my teaching and research interests center on effective instructional leadership, data-informed decision-making, and innovative practices that elevate student learning. I am particularly interested in exploring how STEAM and Gifted Education frameworks can be leveraged to foster creativity, critical thinking, and equity in diverse school settings. Drawing from my background in International Baccalaureate and STEM/STEAM schools, I aim to prepare educators to design engaging, inquiry-based learning environments that cultivate both academic excellence and student agency.
