Mental Health Therapist and Counselor Educator with over ten years' experience in the mental health field and a combined ten years as an educator at the secondary and higher education levels.
•Instruct courses both independently (COUN 6890, COUN 6910, and
COUN 6860A) and as a co-instructor (COUN 6800), following CACREP guidelines
• Provided group supervision to Clinical Mental Health Counseling
students during practicum and internship experiences in order
to properly prepare for graduation and initial licensure
• Provide high-quality in-class experiences with hands-on, experiential
focus to prepare students for the reality of a career in mental
health care
• Enhance syllabi as needed in order to ensure the
best quality classroom instruction and course experience for students
• Maintain relevant student records for courses within university
grading system according to department guidelines
