Bio

I was born and raised in Wisconsin before moving around the country. I have been in Georgia for over a decade now. I have an undergraduate degree in Social Work and graduate degrees in nursing and bioethics.

My teaching interests center on pediatrics, psychiatric mental health, and evidence-based practice research.

Research Interests

My research and clinical interests align with my teaching interests. More specifically, I am interested in the long-term impacts of adverse childhood experiences. I am particularly focused on promoting positive childhood experiences and advancing trauma informed care to improve resiliency.
