I am deeply committed to advancing medical education through the promotion of critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and practical application. My teaching interests are centered in Nephrology, with a particular focus on clinical nephrology, chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, electrolyte and acid-base disorders, and dialysis therapies. I am passionate about educating the next generation of healthcare professionals by fostering a strong foundation in renal physiology and pathophysiology, while bridging theory with bedside application. My approach integrates real-world clinical cases, interdisciplinary learning, and evidence-based medicine to enhance understanding and retention
My research centers on clinical pediatric kidney disease, with a focus on understanding the unique pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of renal disorders in children. I am particularly interested in studying rare kidney diseases in children, acute kidney injury in the pediatric population. My work aims to improve early detection methods, optimize therapeutic interventions, and enhance long-term outcomes for children with kidney diseases.
