Reserve On-Campus Recording Space
Augusta University offers a few campus locations to record a podcast in a private location. All students interested in reserving a space must have a faculty or staff representative. Note that these spaces are private classroom spaces and not audio studios, but audiovisual equipment is available to rent.

The Podcasting Logistics Team reserves the right to monitor all content and remove file(s) that violate university policies and/or U.S. law. Augusta University podcasting resources cannot be used for political campaigning, personal private gain, or activities that violate U.S. law or university policies. Unless otherwise specified in these guidelines or other university communication, use of podcasting resources at Augusta University is restricted to the purpose of the university’s mission. Our Brand Guidelines define the aspects of our communications and marketing standards, as well as how we desire to use everything from typefaces, photography and videography, editorial guidelines, and web and e-communications.
Information and Data Collection Sensitivity
In the process of normal day-to-day university activities, Augusta University collects large amounts of personal data on its students, faculty, and staff. Much of this data is not sensitive, and is in fact publicly available. However, some of it is sensitive, including personal, financial, and legal information. Sensitive data include information protected by state and federal law, as well as that protected by the university. Podcast Transcripts
All podcast submissions must have a transcript or general script outline attached. Transcripts are essential for accessibility and documentation. Similar to subtitles in a movie, transcripts enhance the storytelling, reporting, and authenticity of podcasts for those who are unable to access audio.
