The Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center at Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, offers high quality in- and outpatient medical care and education by pediatric pulmonologists for children with cystic fibrosis (CF).

The Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center is one of only two facilities in Georgia accredited by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving care and treatment. The Foundation has established clinical care guidelines to guarantee quality of care, which the Children’s Hospital of Georgia follows.

A Team Approach

The Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Center is committed to the highest standards and aggressive clinical care required for optimal health for our patients with CF. Our Division collaborates with care providers from many disciplines to treat CF, including nursing, nutrition, pharmacy, physical therapy, psychology, respiratory therapy, and social work. We also work collaboratively with subspecialities in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Pediatric ENT, and Pediatric Surgery.

Clinical Research

The CF Center is actively involved in a number of clinical research trials and has been recognized for it's initiatives in quality improvement.
