The fellowship program in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education of the American Medical Association. All interested applicants must have completed three years of training at an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program and should be eligible to sit for the American Board of Pediatrics certifying examination.

All fellowship applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), Fellowships with ERAS.

In addition, our Program participates with The National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), Fellowship Matches.

As for International Medical Graduates, we are currently accepting only J-1 visas and eligible applicants must be certified by ECFMG.

The objective of the program is to prepare candidates for certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, a Sub-board of The American Board of Pediatrics. The candidates therefore will meet the requirements outlined in the Directory of Graduate Medical Education Programs published by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.

In addition to preparing our fellows for certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, our program aims to achieve 3 fundamentals:

  • Clinical Competence
  • Research
  • Education

Fellows progression will be assessed based on 6 core competencies outlined by ACGME
