Born and raised around St. Petersburg and Tampa, Florida, KinhTu initially pursued a college education to become a dentist, influenced by a suggestion from his mother who believed it would result in fewer illnesses compared to being a doctor. However, Tu is very thankful to have ultimately become a doctor. His soon-to-be spouse is a psychiatry resident and will be joining the team next year. Tu's main clinical and research interests currently include multisystem diseases such as SLE, dermatomyositis, and vasculitis, as well as the application of artificial intelligence in medicine. In his free time, Tu engages in diverse hobbies, with current passions being boxing and oil painting.

The combination of analytical thinking, diagnostic complexity, and the ability to establish long-term relationships with patients draws Pritee to rheumatology. The scope of uncovering new insights into autoimmune disorders through research and scientific advancements is exciting to her. She finds the increasing use of ultrasound in both diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of musculoskeletal diseases very fascinating. Pritee looks forward to gaining more experience in this field throughout her fellowship. Overall, the opportunity to significantly impact patients' lives through a multitude of modalities and compassionate care makes rheumatology an incredibly appealing specialty to her. Her primary areas of interest are lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and vasculitis. As a rheumatologist, Pritee's goal is to build enduring relationships with her patients and make a meaningful impact on alleviating their suffering.
