About:

Hailie Hayes is the research assistant for the Department of Family and Community medicine. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in general biology, and she is an Augusta University graduate. She has over 2 years of clinical research experience and has been working with the Department of Family and Community Medicine in some capacity since she was an undergraduate student researcher. She joined the department full-time in July 2022.

Ms. Hayes’ research experience includes patient recruitment, data collection and analysis, quality control, and abstract preparation. She also assists in community needs assessments, planning, and implementation of selected strategies.

Ms. Hayes plans to attend medical school in Fall 2023, and her desire to pursue primary care has only grown larger since working with the Department of Family and Community Medicine.
