Access and Security

A UNIQUE Rx signature password is REQUIRED if you are planning to write prescriptions with no oversight by an approving dental care provider or if you are yourself a provider who is approving students and or residents.

You DO NOT need a signature password if your prescriptions will be approved by an assigned faculty member or provider.

Your initial eRx temporary password is generally “firstnamerx” – ex: johnrx

Typically, if you have not used eRx before, the default password is “firstnamerx.” If this password does not work or if you have used eRx since changing the default password, please contact Gabriel Warner (1-5121) or Allison Brown (1-5124) to request your password reset.

Currently, any faculty provider holding a dental license from any US state that has been processed through our Credentialing Office and assigned an axiUm Provider ID can be assigned provider level access to eRx.

ID Proofing Process

Use the Request eRx Assistance form on this page if you are having trouble completing the ID Proofing process. You can also contact Gabriel Warner (1-5121) or Allison Brown (1-5124) to request assistance.

Follow the RCOPIA instructions as indicated in the completion message.
