Climbing Tower

Outdoor Recreation’s Climbing Tower is a premier destination for adventure enthusiasts and those looking to challenge themselves in a fun and supportive environment. Our state-of-the-art climbing tower offers a variety of routes suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced climbers.

  • Safety First: Safety is our top priority. Our climbing tower is equipped with the latest safety gear and is regularly inspected to ensure a secure climbing experience.
  • Experienced Staff: Our team of experienced climbing instructors is available to provide guidance, support, and instruction. Whether you're new to climbing or looking to refine your skills, our staff is here to help you succeed.
  • Climbing Programs: We offer a range of climbing programs, including introductory classes, advanced technique workshops, and special events. These programs are designed to help you improve your climbing skills and enjoy the sport to the fullest.

🎉 Grand Opening of The CORE  🎉

We are thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of The CORE on Thursday, September 25, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 601 Old Bailie Street. After a summer of renovations and improvements, our newly updated Outdoor Recreation facility is ready to welcome you back, and we cannot wait to celebrate together.

This exciting evening will be full of adventure, community, and fun. Come explore our new space, connect with students, and celebrate everything Outdoor Rec has to offer.

Event Highlights

  • You can experience climbing, the challenge course, kayaking, and biking.

  • The first 150 students to arrive will receive free Chick-fil-A.

  • Guests will enjoy live music, giveaways, and plenty of chances to make the night memorable.

  • Everyone will have the opportunity to explore the renovated facilities and see the new CORE firsthand.

Special Raffle for Student Organizations
Every student organization that attends will be entered into a raffle for a free Challenge Course session for up to 12 participants. The more members your group brings and signs in, the more raffle entries your organization earns. Even if your group does not win, all attending organizations will receive a discounted Challenge Course session.

STUDENTS

$5/person
+$2 each additional hour

FACULTY & STAFF

$7/person
+$2 each additional hour

YOUTH ORGS & NON-PROFITS

$10/person
+$2 each additional hour

GENERAL PUBLIC

$12/person
+$2 each additional hour

*Initial rate covers one hour.
*Minimum group size is 10 participants.
*Groups less than 10 will be financially responsible for unfilled participant spots.

This exciting event will showcase everything our program has to offer, including kayaking, climbing, the challenge course, and biking.
