We’re excited to announce that our 2026 Staff Professional Development Conference will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the J. Harold Harrison, MD Education Commons Building. Please mark your calendars!
Last year, nearly 200 staff members participated in our inaugural conference, engaging in sessions on topics such as community engagement, project management, intergenerational workplace dynamics, and more. Your strong participation and energy made the event a huge success and we look forward to building on that momentum this year.
Our theme, speakers, and full agenda are still being finalized, but you can expect a day designed to support learning, collaboration, and professional growth across our organization.

Dear AU Colleagues,
I couldn't be more thrilled to serve as your Staff Council Chair during this exciting
time! We enjoyed seeing so many of our staff at our inaugural staff development conference.
We are looking forward to doing all that we can to bring this back in 2026, as it
was so well received and in high demand. It takes a combined effort to pull off an
event like this, and I want to thank President Russell Keen for his vision and encouragement
in finding ways to provide our staff with the resources they need to do their very
