Anthropology
Anthropology at Augusta University guides students in the exploration and analysis of human culture. Our students are given ample opportunities to pursue undergraduate research and delve into varied topics from cultural preservation to globalization—all under the instruction of dedicated faculty. Within anthropology, students focus on cultural anthropology or archeology and can go on to pursue careers in museums and other cultural institutions, as well as continue their studies in graduate and Ph.D. programs.
History

Philosophy
Philosophy is the art of thinking and our students are challenged to consider and analyze their beliefs. Within the Philosophy minor, you will gain new insight into ethics, morals, assumptions and meaning. The minor also serves as a great complement to major courses of study, in that it encourages deeper discovery and more fulfilling academic scholarship.
