Integrated Vascular & Residency Program

The Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency Program at the Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is a five-year ACGME-accredited program dedicated to training the next generation of vascular surgeons through advanced clinical experience, academic scholarship, and innovative research.

Residents receive comprehensive training in open vascular surgery, endovascular interventions, and the medical management of vascular disease while working within a high-volume academic medical center. Training occurs at Wellstar MCG Medical Center, a regional tertiary referral center that includes a 478-bed hospital, a 13-county regional trauma center, and more than 80 outpatient practice sites. The institution provides residents with exposure to a wide range of complex vascular conditions and cutting-edge treatment technologies.

The program accepts one resident per year, fostering a highly personalized training environment with strong mentorship from faculty leaders in vascular and endovascular surgery.
