CAP and PPPP Application Information

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship positions are only accepted through ERAS (Electronic Residency Application System).  My ERAS opens to applicants on July 1 for applicants to apply to the program.  We will begin reviewing applications on July 15. Candidates are encouraged to apply early, as interview slots are limited.  

These are the main things required:

  • Medical College of Georgia Graduate Medical Education Application
  • CV
  • Personal Statement
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation (one letter must be from your current Resident Training Director if you are still in training)
  • Letter from your Training Director stating what rotations you will have completed by the end of your current PG year
  • USMLE steps 1 - 3 scores

Post Pediatric Portal Program 

Applications for the Post Pediatric Portal positions are not managed through the ERAS system.  Rather, contact the program to submit an application.  Applications to the portal program are accepted throughout the year and we request that all documents are submitted by the first week of May.  The interview season is typically begins in June. 

Required application documents:

  • Medical College of Georgia Graduate Medical Education Application
  • CV
  • Professional Photo
  • Personal Statement of Why Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • 3 Letters of Recommendation (one letter must be from your current Resident Training Director if you are still in training)
  • Letter from your Training Director stating what rotations you will have completed by the end of your current PG year
  • USMLE  and or COMLEX steps 1 - 3 scores
  • Medical School Transcripts
