
Primary Healthcare Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) with multiple office locations serving the Northwest Georgia counties of Catoosa, Walker, Dade, and Chattooga.

Multiple integrated health care services are provided across this FQHC’S north Georgia counties service area including in rural locations and school-based health care centers. Primary Healthcare Centers services consist of comprehensive primary care services that include family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, integrated behavioral health, sport’s medicine, woman’s health, school health, and spiritual care provided by physicians in collaboration with advanced nurse practitioner providers all with a family medicine focus.
Primary Healthcare Centers also provide laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, telehealth, employee health, and community outreach services.The team of family physicians, internist, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals provide care for patients of all ages—from children and teens to adults and seniors.
Primary Healthcare Centers makes comprehensive primary healthcare including chronic condition management, preventative care, wellness, same day or urgent care, accessible to everyone, regardless of insurance status or income level. Primary Healthcare Center’s clinical platforms provide multiple learning opportunities for a variety of required and elective clinical experiences for students as a Medical College of Georgia (MCG) FQHC Educational Affiliate. These learning opportunities will be supervised by members of the FQHC’s physician staff who hold MCG Community Clinical Faculty appointments and facilitated by others in the interprofessional team of clinical providers.
