Comprehensive Dental Care and Obtaining Optimal Oral Health

Augusta University’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry/General Practice Residency (AEGD/GPR) shared clinic is a comprehensive dental facility that offers preventative, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.  The intent of the AEGD/GPR programs is to train the general dentist to address the patient’s needs in one clinic. We are committed to providing our patients with excellent care and are dedicated to serving all of your dental needs for a lifetime of comfort, function, and health.

The AEGD/GPR residents, supervised by a team of experienced, residency-trained general dentist faculty, provide care to a wide variety of patients ranging from the medically compromised to special needs.  The General Practice residents have the ability to provide hospital-based dentistry to those who are in need of such care.

From elimination of infection to creating a beautiful and healthy smile, we can help you obtain your goals and fulfill all of your dental needs.  Part of the residents’ training involves knowing when to utilize the abilities of our specialty clinics which are all represented here at Augusta University.

Your care will be delivered in a dedicated clinic on the first floor of The Dental College of Georgia, a world-class facility that offers easy access to every dental specialty under one roof should a referral be needed.
