The committee will solicit nominees for the teaching excellence and outstanding faculty awards. The committee will select the recipient for the annual teaching excellence award prior to the first week of August each year. This award is presented at the Welcome Back Assembly of the DCG. The committee also will conduct the election for the outstanding faculty award in January for presentation at the Spring Assembly of the AU Academic Senate. A committee of five members will be appointed by the Nominating Committee from the pool of previous winners. The committee will elect its chair.
