Information Programs should make available during the Interview Process

*Required items for Interview Packets: must be distributed in writing:

NRMP policy states that programs are at all times responsible for the completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of information they provide to applicants, including:

• A copy of the contract the applicant will be expected to sign if matched to the program, or a copy of the contract currently in use
• All institutional policies regarding eligibility for appointment
• The institution’s policies on visa status and eligibility for appointment
• Current Housestaff Benefits Summary
• Acknowledgement of Receipt of Information: This document is recommended by NRMP (View specific verbiage regarding this document per NRMP)
• ACGME Common Program Requirements also require Programs to provide applicants who are offered an interview with information related to the applicant’s eligibility for the relevant specialty board examination(s). Programs should obtain this information from their respective specialty board.
