Research interest(s): Head and Neck Cancer, Sleep Surgery

What drew you to Otolaryngology at MCG? Simply put, the people. The residency program is full of fun-loving, impressive individuals who care deeply about their patients, the advancement of the field, and their own personal development. We are akin to a large family. Additionally, we are fortunate to have approachable, high-skilled subspecialists who you can talk to at anytime. This program has a long history of successfully preparing graduates to pursue competitive fellowships, academic careers, and private practice. The world is our oyster.

What are your favorite things to do in Augusta? Food (great local restaurants with a variety of cuisines), GreenJackets Minor League Baseball, TopGolf, Savannah River Nature Trail, dog walks in the Summerville neighborhood, grilling out (Lanier's Meat Market), a budget friendly town.

What are your future plans? Undecided

Do you have any advice for prospective residents going through the application process? Be genuine, know your story, and be ready to share it (again, and again, and again). Enjoy the process as much as you can, and only worry about the things under your control. We look forward to meeting you and wish everyone a successful match.

What drew you to Otolaryngology at MCG? I did an away rotation at MCG and immediately felt "at home". The residents and faculty work so well together and the department feels like one big family.

What are your favorite things to do in Augusta? I enjoy playing TopGolf and walking my dogs on the Greenway Trail. There are also several great places to eat in town. My favorite restaurant, so far, is Abel Brown - their broiled oysters are amazing!

What are your future plans? Undecided

Do you have any advice for prospective residents going through the application process? Be genuine during interviews. Try to get to l know the residents and faculty 0 it is important to like the people you will be working with for the next five years!
