Next Steps

Commit to Enroll

Commit to Enroll opens April 30th, 2026, and the enrollment deadline is June 29th, 2026. This signals that an applicant is committing to MCG & withdrawing applications from other medical schools.

Certiphi Background Check

Students without completed background checks may not be able to matriculate into MCG.

Official Final Transcripts

Students must send the MCG Office of Admissions final, official transcripts from ALL colleges listed on the AMCAS application. All transcripts must be received prior to matriculation.

Class of 2030 Orientation

Additional information regarding required orientation activities will be sent to your via email.

Additional Documents

Additional documentation required by the Office of Admissions may be requested.

Complete Required Financial Aid Counseling

An opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of:

  • the financial aid process
  • cost of attendance
  • loan types
  • personalized financial considerations.  
  • All students accepted to MCG are required to complete an individual financial aid counseling session before matriculation.
  • Complete the session either in person or virtually
  • The Financial Aid Office will contact you to schedule your appointment.

Scholarships

  • MCG offers both merit-based and need-based scholarships.  
  • Awarded to accepted students on a rolling basis beginning in late February of the matriculation year.  
  • All accepted students are automatically considered; no separate application is required.
