Oconee Valley Healthcare has a history of resident educational engagement for inpatient clinical learning experience and recent Medical College of Georgia (MCG) student education support and involvement. Its multiple clinical platforms and diverse community clinical engagements provide learning opportunities for a variety of required and elective learning experiences for students as an MCG FQHC Educational Affiliate. These learning opportunities are supervised by members of the FQHC’s physician staff who hold MCG Community Clinical Faculty appointments and facilitated by others in their interprofessional team of clinical providers.
