Georgia Mountains Healthcare

Georgia Mountains Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center and a FTCA deemed provider of medical, dental, and behavioral health services. Founded in 1984 in Fannin County, it currently has offices in Blue Ridge, Chatsworth, Dahlonega, and Ellijay, Georgia, serving the counties of Fannin, Gilmer, Lumpkin, and Murray.  Georgia Mountains Health is the only non-profit charitable community-based organization with a full-time medical and dental staff providing health care and education in this area of north Georgia to anyone, regardless of ability to pay. All services are provided on a sliding scale based on family income.   

The National Association for Quality Care recognized all Georgia Mountains Health medical sites as a Patient Centered Medical Home , which uses systematic, patient-centered, coordinated, team-based care that supports access, quality assessment and improvement, and patient involvement. This FQHC participates in the 340B Drug Assistance Program to facilitate access to discounted medications for eligible patients.  

The mission of Georgia Mountains Health Services, Inc. is to respond to the medical, dental, and behavioral health needs of its community by providing professional, compassionate, and affordable quality care to all. The interprofessional team of physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, dentists, hygienists, and staff are trained in all aspects of primary care and provide Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, Adolescent Care, Geriatric, Behavioral Health, Telehealth, Pharmacy, Podiatry, Health Maintenance, and Disease Prevention services.
