Frequently Asked Questions

Is orientation mandatory?

Yes, orientation is mandatory for any students attending Augusta University for the first-time, regardless of if you are a new freshman, a transfer student, or a non-traditional student. Additionally, any student that has been to our institution previously and has been out for three years or more must attend New Student Orientation.

Students that are Non-Degree Seeking are an exception to this rule and do not have to attend new undergraduate student orientation. However, Degree Seeking Post-Baccalaureates are required to attend.

You are encouraged to find child care for young children, so you may focus on the information given to you.

Guests are to be registered with the student and pay on the orientation payment site. Please know that during parts of the orientation program, students and guests will be separated for two different programs throughout the day.
