HR Information - COVID-19

In accordance with Augusta University's return to campus plan, Human Resources remains open and will continue to provide services by phone, email or virtual means.  On an exception basis, in person customer service will be offered by appointment only, and will generally be limited to new hire onboarding that cannot be conducted by phone or email and other special situations that may require a face to face meeting. This method of service delivery will allow us to serve our various customers effectively, while also maintaining customer and HR employee safety.

Employee Health services will continue to be provided at the Pope Avenue location and are not impacted by the changes at the Broad Street location.

The following information and guidance is offered to our various customers.

Benefits & Data Management, Faculty Support Services and Records and Retirement will continue to coordinate all electronic clearances for terminating and retiring faculty and staff.  Each section will coordinate remotely with the terminating/retiring faculty or staff member’s supervisor to collect all keys, badges and parking decals.  These collected items will be sent via intracampus mail along with the clearance form directly to Human Resources (OR 8000).  HR will then coordinate with Key Control, JagCard Office and Parking to distribute collected items.  All final clearances through HR (when a department does not collect the above mentioned items) will require an appointment.
