Enrollment and Obtaining Your Insurance Card


MANDATORY INSURANCE PLAN 
(For students who are required by their program of study to have health insurance coverage)

You must be registered for your classes  with an active mailing/permanent US address in POUNCE before you will receive an email with the link to opt-in to the plan. It can take up to 5 business days before the email with the link is sent.

Once you have enrolled, please visit www.uhcsr.com/augusta to set up your account. You may then request your insurance card by mail or print one from the website.

Please note:

Those who are enrolled in the Student Insurance Plan for Spring and are scheduled to graduate in August will have coverage extended by one month and the cost will be billed to your Pounce account.


If you had an approved waiver and lose your current private insurance coverage during the semester, please email us at studentinsurance@augusta.edu to request enrollment in the student health insurance plan.


VOLUNTARY INSURANCE PLAN

Students who are NOT required by their program of study to have health insurance may purchase the insurance through the voluntary enrollment site. To enroll in the voluntary insurance plan please go to the link below. Once you have enrolled and paid by credit card, please set up your account. You may then request your insurance card by mail or print one from the website. www.uhcsr.com/augusta
