(STOP 2) Standardized Treatment of Pulmonary Exacerbations II

The purpose of this study is find out the right length of time to treat cystic fibrosis patients with IV antibiotics when their respiratory symptoms get worse. Different methods will be compared to see how long treatment is necessary for them to get better with taking more than is needed and exposing to unnecessary risks.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Men and Women 18 years of age and older Documented diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis Enrolled in Cystic Fibrosis Foundation National Patient Registry Is experiencing worsening pulmonary symptoms There is a plan in place to receive IV antibiotics as a result of the worsening pulmonary symptoms
