A Lipid Monolayer Critical for the Tear Film
This project aims to identify the components and their quantities within the human eye's oil layer, which covers the eyes and protects them from dryness. To investigate, we will collect tear drops that naturally exceed from the corner of the eyes under normal conditions, with no adverse effects. The results will contribute to the development of therapeutic treatment strategies for dry eye disease.
Eligibility Criteria
- Inclusion: 1. No dry eye symptoms 2. Age from 18 and above. Exclusion: 1. Has dry eye symptoms 3. Age below 18.
