Group Fitness

Classes resume on January 2, 2026!

Group Fitness is a fun and unique opportunity for you to reach your fitness and wellness goals through a wide variety of classes designed for all interests and skill levels.

Classes are taught by experienced, certified instructors and are free to students and CRC members.

AU Campus Recreation is a Les Mills Facility! We offer BODYPUMP, PILATES, CORE, and RPM (SPIN).

We also offer a full schedule of Les Mills Virtual classes in each studio. Virtual classes include RPM, BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE, GRIT, SPRINT, CORE, THE TRIP, and DANCE!

Class Description

Barre (45 minutes)
Barre combines low-impact exercises with faster paced physical activity to create a variety of aerobic conditioning sessions.

LES MILLS BODYCOMBAT (30 & 45 minutes) 
BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired training workout that fuels cardio fitness and strengthens your whole body.  This no-contact class will improve our agility, speed, and release stress to leave you to feel empowered.

LES MILLS BODYPUMP (45 minutes)
BODYPUMP is a scientifically backed barbell workout using light to moderate weights and high reps to increase your strength and fitness.

LES MILLS CORE (30 minutes)
CORE is an intense core workout for functional fitness.  It's scientifically designed to build strength, stability, and endurance in the muscles that support your core.

LES MILLS PILATES (30 Minutes)
PILATES is a low-impact, full-body workout that focuses on building strength, flexibility, and improving posture through controlled, mindful movements. LES MILLS PILATES is ideal for all fitness levels, offering a low-intensity workout that is effective for toning and sculpting the body while promoting relaxation and mental focus.

Les MILLS RPM
RPM is a high-energy indoor cycling workout designed to get your heart pumping and your legs moving! This 45-minute, music-driven class simulates outdoor cycling terrain, combining hill climbs, sprints, and endurance rides to deliver an intense, full-body workout.

Multi-Level Yoga (45 minutes) 
Multi-Level Yoga is a versatile and inclusive class designed to accommodate practitioners of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced yogis.  This class offers a balanced approach, with options for students to challenge themselves while also providing modifications for those who are newer to yoga or prefer gentler practice.

Power Flow Yoga (45 minutes)
Power Flow Yoga is an energetic and fluid practice that combines the principles of Power Yoga with the graceful flow of vinyasa.  This class is designed to build strength, flexibility, and endurance while linking breath to movement in a seamless, continuous flow.  Each sequence is dynamic and invigorating, featuring a series of progressively challenging poses that are held for a short period before flowing into the next.

Power Yoga (45 minutes)
Designed to calm the spirit, focus the mind, and challenge the body.  Power Yoga is a dynamic and vigorous style of yoga that combines strength,  flexibility, and endurance through a series of flowing sequences.  This class is designed to challenge both your body and mind by focusing on breath-centered movement, with an emphasis on building physical power, stamina, and mental focus.  This practice is often faster-paced than traditional yoga, incorporating poses like Sun Salutations, balancing postures, and strength-building exercises.

Spin (45 minutes)
This class will help increase your cardiovascular endurance as you to pedal your way through a variety of resistance hills, speed sprints, climbs, and intervals.

WERQ (45 minutes)
Based on the hottest pop and hip-hop music, WERQ is a wildly addictive cardio dance workout that will get your heart pumping!

Yoga for Everyone (45 minutes)
Yoga for Everyone is an inclusive and accessible class designed to welcome students of all ages, body types, and fitness levels.  Whether you are a complete beginner or have prior yoga experience, this class focuses on creating a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore and enjoy the benefits of yoga at your own pace.

Tabata Bootcamp (45 minutes)

Tabata Bootcamp incorporates the 40-30-20 protocol of HIIT. Participants move ‘hard’ for 40 seconds, take a 20-second break, work ‘harder’ for 30 seconds and take a 15 second break, then work ‘hardest’ for 20 seconds with a 10-second break. Everyone works at their own pace and exercises can be modified to suit everyone.
