Due to uncertainty about the availability of SAT/ACT testing during the COVID-19 pandemic, Augusta University will waive the SAT/ACT requirement for first-year students for the upcoming Spring, Summer, and Fall 2021 semesters.

First-year students must still meet all other admissions requirements, which includes completing the Required High School Curriculum and providing all other requested documentation. Students who have SAT and ACT scores already are encouraged to submit them but are not required. Additionally, Augusta University will employ a GPA threshold (a minimum unweighted high school GPA of 3.0) to make admissions eligibility decisions for students who do not submit test scores.

Students that opt to submit test scores will be reviewed using our standard review process, which uses the Freshman Index (FI) System that is detailed on our freshman requirements page.
