We're all in this together.

The Jags4Jags Mentoring Program enhances the new student experience by linking first-year students one-on-one with a peer mentor. Students are paired with someone invested in their success — a person ready to listen, inspire, help navigate challenges and recognize opportunities. Students will learn what to expect in school, how to approach challenges, gain career advice and valuable insights, while mentors will build their networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders. Learn how Jags4Jags can help you »

Your Mentorship Experience Starts Here.

Fostering a Culture of Mentorship

Here at Augusta University, we believe that connections through mentorship are key to the Augusta University experience. We encourage all students to participate in the Jags4Jags Mentorship Program in order to create lifelong connections that facilitate the growth and development in all involved. The snipet below provides a glimpse into the mentorship experience here at Augusta University.

Mentorship Expectations

Mentors and mentees are encouraged to communicate at least 2 - 4 times per month, although pairs can communicate more or less frequently depending on individual preferences. Pairs can communicate in person, via text, Zoom, Slack, and/or phone.
