The Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University was approved by the ACGME on September 20, 2023, and is currently the only approved Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship in the state of Georgia that provides in-utero fetal therapy training. Additionally, Wellstar MCG Health is Georgia's only Level IV designated Regional Perinatal Center and houses the only facility in the state where newborns can get the full range of pediatric subspecialty services all under one roof.

This is a three-year fellowship with one fellow position per year. The objective of the fellowship program is to produce well-rounded perinatologists to provide excellent clinical care for women with regards to the management and treatment of high-risk pregnancies. The program is an integral part of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
