Bio

Stacie K. Pettit is an Assistant Professor of Teacher Education at Augusta University. She received her PhD in Middle School Education from the University of Georgia. Dr. Pettit’s certifications include middle school mathematics, Language Arts, K-12 gifted and English to Speakers of Other Languages. Her research interests include teaching English Language Learners in mainstream classrooms, particularly middle school mathematics classrooms, and using social media in education.
