Established in 2017, the Department of Juvenile Justice Health Services was established through a unique collaboration between Augusta University Health System and the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice with the goal of delivering high quality health services to the state of Georgia’s justice-involved youth in 25 facilities.
Our mission is to transform young lives by providing evidence-based rehabilitative treatment services and supervision, strengthening the well-being of youth and families, and fostering safe communities.
Each youth will receive appropriate, individualized care to improve their health knowledge and their potential for wellness.
