Teaching Interests
I have passion to my coursework instruction, and consistently ranked in the top 20% in external evaluation within my department. My teaching assignments are both in applied chemistry, analytical graduate core, instrumental, and forensic chemistry, and I focus on preparing the students for real world engagements and strong problem solving skills. Within the analytical core classes, I have modernized the curriculum to train the students not only on the fundamental concepts, but current instrumentation. The forensic science course was fully developed and implemented by me, and an integral part to my hiring at UNT. At Augusta University, even though my teaching load is low, I continue to teach instrumental analysis, and develop the writing skills of the graduate students.
