Our department meets monthly on Wednesdays (Third) for the Clinical Case Conference. During these sessions unique or challenging medical/surgical cases are presented for discussion.

icon Time: 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. (Virtual MS Teams until further notice)

Each session is comprised of 2 to 3 case presentations which are typically delivered by the residents of our department. Each presentation is to be derived from cases with which they have had close involvement. All sessions are moderated by the faculty member who has had the closest or most relevant involvement in the given case though all are expected to join in the discussion as they have points to review.

The aim of the conference is to educate the audience on clinical pearls, best practices, quality improvement, and to improve patient safety and outcomes.

For each session attended continuing education credits are offered.
