Empowering and inspiring young women to become confident, capable leaders in their community and beyond.
For young women navigating the path to professional success, the journey can present unique challenges. Recognizing this, Stacy Roberts, DBA, lecturer in the James M. Hull College of Business, launched the innovative LeadHERship Summer Program. This initiative is designed to empower rising high school junior and senior girls by equipping them with essential business acumen and life skills. The program goes beyond basic concepts, diving into topics like team building, resume development, networking, and crucial self-care strategies for preventing burnout.
The LeadHERship program isn't just about imparting knowledge; it's about fostering confidence and planting the seeds for future success, helping the next generation of women leaders avoid common hurdles and thrive in the business world.
