The Interdisciplinary Simulation Center is the primary healthcare simulation resource for the healthcare training programs of Augusta University.
We serve many different disciplines including nursing, medicine, allied health, and dentistry. We offer the full spectrum of simulation services including high fidelity simulation, standardized patients, skills labs and procedural training. Course and faculty development services are also available.
To serve the healthcare simulation needs of Augusta University and the surrounding communities, providing excellence in healthcare education and training, fostering interdisciplinary relationships and activities, and ultimately serving as a catalyst to advance healthcare education.

The ISC has just received 5 new High-Fidelity Manikins! These Laerdal SimMan 3G Plus Manikins offer a fully immersive simulation experience with heightened realism. They are designed to represent a diverse range of patient scenarios to help prepare learners for real-world situations. They have interchangeable face skins for diversity training and full articulation for realistic patient handling. Now you can also train with real clinical devices, in compliance with current guidelines. Training individually or in a team, learners can practice critical skills such as decision-making, team communication, and patient care. With this improved and realistic feature set, learners encounter complex medical cases all in a risk-free environment. SimMan 3G Plus ensures that when it’s real, they’ll be ready.
