The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) protects both the public interest and the PA profession. The agency defines PA educational standards and evaluates programs within the territorial United States to ensure compliance with those standards.
The Augusta University Physician Assistant Program has been granted Continued Accreditation by the ARC-PA. Continued accreditation is a status granted to currently accredited programs in compliance with ARC-PA Standards.
Continued Accreditation remains in effect until the program closes, withdraws from the accreditation process, or accreditation is withdrawn for failure to comply with the Standards. The Augusta University Physician Assistant Program's next comprehensive review is scheduled for March 2019.
