Think Green, Live Green, Work Green!

The mission is to develop, promote and implement a responsible sustainability program incorporating appropriate environmental stewardship and practices to meet the needs of Augusta University, Augusta University Medical Center and our community.

Augusta University Medical Center is Energy Star Certified.

AU Medical Center has received the EPA Energy Star designation for 2012, 2015, 2016 and 2017. This is an incredible accomplishment considering the age of the facilities and the way in which the hospital systems have to be operated to maintain a patient centric environment. Achieving this designation is the result of a tireless commitment to efficient systems operations and energy management.
