Augusta University Thyroid & Parathyroid Center

nurse and patientThe Augusta University Thyroid and Parathyroid Center the is a multidisciplinary specialized center dedicated to providing outstanding medical and surgical care for patients with thyroid and parathyroid disease.

Patients with a full range of structural and functional thyroid and parathyroid disorders receive diagnostic and comprehensive management of thyroid and parathyroid conditions. 

Advanced techniques such as ultrasound guided fine needle biopsy, minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery are utilized for treatment of thyroid and parathyroid conditions such as thyroid nodules, multinodular goiters, thyroid cancer, hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism and hypercalcemia.

The Thyroid and Parathyroid Center utilizes the expertise of endocrinologists, surgeons and radiologists in order to provide a coordinated approach to therapy for thyroid and parathyroid conditions.
