Office of Learner Well-being
Established in 2020, the Office of Learner Well-being serves learners across the UME/GME
continuum. Our services are designed to meet the needs of medical students, residents,
and fellows while working closely with the wellness liaison to the MCG Faculty Senate.
We are committed to enhancing patient care and welfare and believe that optimal care
requires an environment where all learners and healthcare providers can thrive, feel
support and well treated.
The Well-Being Index is a 100% anonymous, web-based tool used to evaluate multiple
dimensions of distress in just 9 questions. It’s designed to measure burnout, provide
valuable resources, and allow users to compare their scores to their peers as well
as track progress over time to promote self-awareness.
