The Office of Learner Well-being was established in 2020 to support the wellness of our learners in Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) and Graduate Medical Education (GME) at the Medical College of Georgia. If you are an MCG-AU medical student, resident, or fellow, then you are a learner.

We know that in order to provide optimal patient care our UME/GME learners/future healthcare providers need to feel supported. That's where we come in!  We work closely with faculty and staff to ensure you have access to all available services in our support system.

Dimensions of Well-being

Being healthy, happy, and satisfied with life contributes greatly to your well-being. With all the demands that come with training for, and being in, the medical profession, it's hard to find time for your own physical and mental health needs. Ask yourself how you're doing. Are you feeling out-of-sync in any aspect of your life? If the answer is yes, you need to start focusing on your own well-being.

Physical Wellness

Staying active and keeping fit is essential for a healthy body and mind.

Emotional Wellness

How you feel on the inside is just as important as how you feel on the outside.

Social Wellness

Social interaction and doing things with others can keep you busy and engaged.

Spiritual Wellness

Connecting with your spiritual beliefs provides a sense of strength, purpose and community.

Financial Wellness

Being able to manage and save your money gives you a sense of financial security.
